Gelatin Pore Strips/Face Mask

Hey Beauties! So, recently I have discovered an affordable option that is very similar to Biore Strips. Biore strips are very popular to get rid of those pesky blackheads, and all the other crud clogging our pores. If you have ever purchased Biore strips before, you will know that they can get a little pricey. So, I have a very affordable option that will work just as good!

You can use this method as a whole face mask, or use it in a localized area (nose, chin etc) to create a pore strip. This is going to be a peel off mask. But remember, beauty is pain!

Ingredients for a Full Face Mask:

1 Tablespoon (1 packet) Unflavored Gelatin

1 1/2 Tablespoon Milk

**Since unflavored gelatin comes in packages of 1 Tablespoon, it is ideal for a face mask. But if you only want to treat a small area, just half the recipe. If you use the recipe above for a pore strip, you will have a TON left over.

Ingredients for a Pore Strip:

1/2 Tablespoon (half a packet) Unflavored Gelatin

3/4 Tablespoon Milk

To make it, all you have to do is just mix those two ingredients together, so that it looks like this:

Then pop it in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds. When it comes out, stir it good so it can cool down and won’t burn your face. But hurry and apply it once it has cooled because it hardens to a silicone texture very quickly!

Now time to put it on our face! CAUTION- It does stink a little haha

If you applied a thin layer, leave on for about 10 minutes. If its a thicker layer, 20 minutes should work. Just make sure it is dried all the way. Unless it won’t work.

It will hurt a little! But afterwards, we can do what girls do and grossly study all the stuff we just pulled out of our skin :). I hope this has helped you. Check out the link below for my YouTube video associated with this blog post.

Thanks everyone!!
